GROWING IN GODLINESS
Women's Ministry
Mission
To support the ministry of Providence Presbyterian Church through the various gifts of helping and administrating and to encourage the women, as disciples of Christ, to grow together in godliness through the practice of the means of His grace in covenantal living.

Women's Bible Studies
Available both Tuesday morning and Thursday evening, weekly Bible studies encourage women to delve deeper into the promises of God’s Word, engage in meaningful discussions, and pray for one another.
Annual Women’s Retreat
Providence's women's ministries, designed to encourage women of God in fellowship, prayer, and the Word, include weekly Bible studies for women of all ages, an annual retreat, and the programs Secret Sisters, Fellowship Partners, and Apples of Gold.

Apples of Gold
Based on the model of Titus 2, Apples of Gold is a semi-annual ministry in which mature Christian women mentor younger women, focusing on building up marriages and families. Cooking demonstrations are also included.
Fellowship Partners
The Fellowship Partner ministry seeks to foster biblical fellowship and friendship between women of the church, in order to encourage one another to grow in godliness and pursue spiritual disciplines.

Secret Sisters
Secret Sisters is a prayer ministry in which women build relationships through notes and prayer in order that we might encourage and support one another as sisters in Christ.
Service-Based Ministries
The Women’s Ministry oversees a number of service-based ministries, such as providing assistance to new mothers, organizing mercy meals, hosting baby showers, and mailing college care packages.

Social Events
The Women's Ministry also hosts fellowship events for women and all members of the church, including seasonal brunches and dinners and activity nights.
The Providence Women's Ministry supports satellite ministries to grow in godliness and cultivate community. Please reach out to us for resources and guidance.
